This week, during their Humanities lessons, our Year 7 tutor groups took part in a workshop focusing on the experiences of refugees and the importance of understanding how, as a community, we can support those in need of help.

Our students explored the key differences between refugees, asylum seekers and immigration, while also listening thoughtfully to Aram’s stories, kindly shared through the Samphire Project.

We are very grateful to Aram and the Samphire team for their time, and we are proud of Year 7 for engaging with such maturity!
