Joint Statement from Dover, Deal and Sandwich Headteachers

As you may be aware from various media, there has been an allegation of a serious incident at a Dover school before half term. Kent Police are investigating and have advised the school in question that it should make no official statement until the investigation has concluded. There has been a lot of speculation about the allegation on social media which is not only unhelpful but could also be potentially harmful to the young people involved. Please do not share any of these social media postings. The school in question is co-operating fully with the police and will keep stakeholders informed of any developments.
